Jesse McCartney to perform July 17
concert at Berlin Raceway

Marne, Michigan – Berlin Raceway is proud to announce a huge summer concert event; pop superstar Jesse McCartney will be performing live on Friday night, July 17.

The 21 year old New York City native has exploded on the scene at a very young age, with the recent release of his third album ‘Departure’ hitting store shelves April 7. As the co-writer of many of the album's songs, Jesse chose to share the experiences he's had since Beautiful Soul made him a household name throughout the U.S. and in a dozen or more countries, from Italy to Japan.

"The record is called Departure for a number of reasons," says Jesse McCartney. "There have been departures in my career, in my personal life. I've learned a lot since doing my first couple of records. I think I've landed in the most comfortable place I've ever been musically as the style of music, my vocals and the lyrical content of the songs on this album. Departure has a little more of mature sound than what my fans previously heard from me but this is the road that I'm on right now and it's the road that I believe they'll join with me!"

McCartney is the recent recipient of many awards, including 2007 Radio Disney Music Awards Best Male Singer, nominations for TRL Awards Man of the Year, Teen Choice Awards Choice Male Artist, Choice Most Fanatic Fans, Choice Summer Song (Leavin’), and Record of the Year with the 51st Grammy Awards.

The concert will be a part of the 154th Berlin Fair that runs from July 14 through July 18.  On stage activity is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. and ticket prices for the event are $20 for general admission and $25 for limited Victory Circle seating.   Grand Rapids based 104.5 WSNX is proud to present the concert, and will be giving away tickets, including a pair of front row seats during the week of the show!
