Cobb, of Ada, recorded a long and storied racing career at Berlin Raceway that spanned from 1966 to 2000. During his Berlin career, Cobb raced Supermodifieds, Late Models and Sportsman cars. He ended his career by becoming the oldest driver to win a Berlin Raceway championship, winning the 2000 Sportsman title at the age of 63. He was known as a tough, no-nonsense racer who earned the respect of the entire racing community.
